Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ala Potku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by Go Ninja- Vanilla Ice. Potku has chosen Pantera - Drag the Waters as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potku shoots in for a takedown but Liddell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Liddell connects with a high kick.
It looks like Ala Potku has been cut.

Potku tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Potku has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Liddell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Potku displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Liddell throws out the jab.

Potku is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Liddell can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Potku goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Liddell turns into him and now he's in Potku's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Potku has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Liddell is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Potku.
Potku is looking to reverse the position.

Liddell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Potku keeps working.

Potku has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Liddell. Oh but Potku has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Liddell goes limp - he's gone! Potku jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
