Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Base (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Craig Fuller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Base!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Base fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fuller, pushing him back against the cage.
Base wants to get back to striking at distance but Fuller won't allow it.
Base pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fuller shoots for a double leg takedown but Base sprawls well. He's pushed Fuller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Base lands a right hook to the body.
Base fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fuller sprawls well initially but Base persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fuller blocking the ground and pound attempt from Base.
Base looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fuller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Base wants to pass to mount but Fuller is defending the position.
Base wants to control but Fuller is keeping him busy.
Fuller trying to hold on to Base's head to control him but Base postures up.
Base content to control rather than advance.
Fuller tries to kick Base off but Base keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Base thows an elbow strike that misses. Fuller gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Base doesn't seem too bothered but Fuller quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Base is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Base really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
