Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edzard Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ling's entrance music is Gemüseeintopf. A fine choice. Davis has chosen The Who - Baba O'Riley as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Davis lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ling will feel that in the morning.
Davis misses with a hook.
Edzard Ling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis scores with a nice strike.
Davis catches Ling with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The fight stays on the outside here - Davis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Davis lands a really nice looking cross but Ling seems unphased.
Davis misses with a low kick as Ling jumps back.
Ling slips a jab and a cross from Davis.
Ling looks to land a combination but Davis avoids it well.
Ling tests Davis's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ling ducks under a wild hook from Davis.

Ling throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Davis on the side of the head.

Davis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Davis fails to land with a series of punches.

Ling lands with a straight right. Davis didn't see that one coming.

Ling ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Davis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Davis throws a low kick but Ling avoids it.
Ling stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Davis.
Edzard Ling is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Davis thows a body kick. Ling tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Ling avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ling bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Davis's head backwards.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ling. Davis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Donk. Ling catches Davis right on the button with a cross.
Davis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ling throws out the jab.
Davis takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ling swings for the body but Davis moves out of range.
Davis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ling moves away.
Ling uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Davis connects with a body shot.
Ling is breathing heavily.
Davis throws a head kick that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Davis, right into the meat.
Ling is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Davis wants to clinch.

Davis lands a big head kick that sends Ling tumbling to the mat! Davis takes a step backwards and waves Ling back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ling is rocked!

It looks like Edzard Ling has been cut.
Ling is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davis connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Ling to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Davis!
