PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martti Ahtisaari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafal Rutkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutkowski is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Barbarian Horde. Ahtisaari is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Martti Ahtisaari has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutkowski scores with a one two! Ahtisaari had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rutkowski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ahtisaari tries to avoid it but Rutkowski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ahtisaari to the ground. Ahtisaari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A decent looking cross lands there for Rutkowski.

and Ahtisaari counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well Rutkowski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
