Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Zodd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danger Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zodd comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the jungle by Guns and Roses. George Zodd could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Danger Takeshi's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danger Takeshi!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zodd just misses with a punch to the body.
Zodd staying out of range there.

Zodd feints and as Takeshi raises his hands in defense, Zodd changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Takeshi had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Zodd is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Takeshi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Zodd's back instead.
Takeshi has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Zodd.

Zodd is rocked!
Zodd can't escape the position.
Oh Zodd is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Takeshi.
Zodd could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Takeshi lands strikes to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zodd looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Takeshi punishes Zodd with strikes from the back mount.
Takeshi scores with punches from the back.
Takeshi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Takeshi is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Zodd defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Zodd is really stuck here.

Zodd wants to control his opponent's hands but Takeshi gets his hands free.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Takeshi is on top in guard.

Zodd on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zodd tries to get out of the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Takeshi postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Zodd looks a forlorn figure.
Zodd is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takeshi cracks Zodd with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
