The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cronkite shoots for a double leg takedown but Two Tone sprawls well. He's pushed Cronkite's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cronkite shoots in but Two Tone avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Walter Cronkite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cronkite throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Two Tone's waist but Two Tone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cronkite off to one side.
John Two Tone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walter Cronkite.

Two Tone lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Cronkite quite badly. Cronkite pulls Two Tone in close trying to recover. Two Tone postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Cronkite on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Cronkite doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
