Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Alwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Von (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Von looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Alwa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Alwa regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alwa controls Von momentarily but Von frees himself.
Von won't allow Alwa to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alwa is looking for a triangle but Von pushes his legs off easily.

Von gets to his feet - Alwa follows without any prompting.
Von looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alwa is fending him off so far but Von persists. Nope, Alwa circles away and we're back to standing.

Von feints and as Alwa raises his hands in defense, Von changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Von prevents Alwa from getting back to his feet.

Alwa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Von can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Von seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Alwa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Alwa works his way into full mount!

Alwa stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Von works over Alwa's head and body with a nice combination.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Alwa manages to break the clinch.
Von looks to land a combination. Alwa sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alwa is on top in guard.

Von is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Alwa swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Von is now in Alwa's guard. A big mistake from Alwa there, giving up the dominant position!

Von works a leg free and moves into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Von in particular looking to stall.
Von wants to pass the guard but Alwa is defending well.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Von tries to clinch but Alwa moves out of range.

Von shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Von lands a big shot there that rocks Alwa but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Alwa has his foot on Von 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Von works his way back into a safe position though.
