Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gar Diu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Bueno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diu comes to the cage accompanied by Song of Manliness. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bueno misses with the combination.
Bueno clobbers Diu with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bueno loads up on a big right hand but Diu slips the punch.
Bueno throws a leg kick but Diu sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Diu shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bueno's guard.
Diu won't allow Bueno to sweep him here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bueno is on top in guard.
Bueno throws and elbow that misses. Diu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bueno's guard. Nice move by Diu!
Diu controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Diu won't allow Bueno to get back to his feet.

Bueno wants to sweep here but Diu controlling him for the moment.

Bueno is wriggling around but Diu manages to pass to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bueno really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Diu has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Diu forces Bueno back against the cage and clinches.

Bueno lands a shoulder strike.
Diu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bueno walks away with a smile on his face. Diu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bueno rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Diu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bueno is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Diu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Diu's back!

Bueno is throwing shots to the body but Diu manages to wriggle free. Bueno pounces on him again and ends up in Diu's guard.

Bueno tries to bum rush Diu with a series of wild strikes but Diu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bueno has given up his back. Will we see Diu going for some submissions?
Diu slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Bueno won't enjoy being in this position. Diu looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Bueno is tapping - it's over boys! Diu picks up the submission victory!
