Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ramirez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Megadeth-Trust. Reis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blood Brothers. Alex Ramirez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Ramirez.
Ramirez misses with a wild body shot.
Reis leaves Ramirez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Reis pushes Ramirez away with a front kick.
Ramirez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reis tries to avoid it but Ramirez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reis to the ground. Reis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ramirez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reis's waist but Reis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ramirez off to one side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Reis has hold of Ramirez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ramirez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
