Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Patricio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Eduardo Taddeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patricio shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Taddeo defends it nicely.
Taddeo lands a nice looking body shot.
Patricio tries to score a power double leg takedown but Taddeo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Patricio somewhat.
Horrible takedown by Patricio or perhaps it was just good defense by Taddeo which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adrian Patricio. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Patricio shoots in looking for a takedown. Taddeo tries to sprawl out of it but Patricio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taddeo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Patricio shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Taddeo but Taddeo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Adrian Patricio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Taddeo sizes up Patricio with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Horrible takedown by Patricio or perhaps it was just good defense by Taddeo which made him look bad.

Taddeo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A combination from Taddeo does no damage.
Taddeo keeps the fight on the outside.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nice sprawl there from Taddeo as Patricio shoots in.
Patricio fails with a takedown attempt.
Patricio is breathing heavily.
Taddeo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Patricio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carlos Eduardo Taddeo dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Taddeo has cracked Patricio with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Taddeo lands another huge swinging hook and Patricio tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Patricio, before Taddeo can land any more shots!
