Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mauricio Rocha!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A slow jab from Rocha misses its intended target.
Rocha doesn't manage to clinch there - Miller circles away.
Miller lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rocha circles away quickly and effectively.
Rocha misses with a leg kick.
Rocha lands a nice leg kick that just misses Miller's sensitive parts.
Rocha scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Miller has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rocha lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Miller or not.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rocha is trying to drag Miller to the mat but Miller just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Miller leaves Rocha with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A left hand lands to the body for Miller.
Rocha is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Rocha turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Rocha wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.
Miller takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Miller is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rocha is controlling him well.

Miller bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
A slapping leg kick lands for Rocha.
Rocha pushes Miller away with a front kick.
Rocha is looking to clinch but Miller is avoiding it.

Rocha tries for a takedown but Miller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rocha explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Rocha bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Rocha is looking to clinch but Miller is avoiding it.

Rocha feints and then cracks Miller's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Miller down.
Rocha has a takedown stuffed.

Rocha shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Miller is trying to defend but Rocha finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rocha tries to land a knee to the head but Miller blocks with his arms.
Miller gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rocha.

Miller tries to circle away but Rocha has him pinned against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miller lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rocha throws a combination that misses

and Miller counters by moving into the clinch.
Rocha goes for a takedown in the clinch but Miller prevents it.
Miller lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Rocha is trying to maintain a safe position but Miller gets an underhook and turns Rocha into the cage.
Miller is leaning against Rocha and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Miller gets through Rocha's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Miller pushes Rocha back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Miller throws an elbow that misses.
Miller is leaning against Rocha and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Miller.
Miller's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Miller is trying to force a seperation but Rocha has the dominant position.
Miller on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rocha doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Miller creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Rocha escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mauricio Rocha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller is looking to clinch.
Miller closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Rocha out cold! Rocha corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
