Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osvaldo Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Leonardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Leonardo. No joy for Braga on that attempt.
Braga fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Braga connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Braga misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Leonardo closes the distance and clinches up with Braga, looking for a takedown. Leonardo pushes Braga against the cage but Braga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Leonardo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Leonardo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Braga avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Osvaldo Braga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesus Leonardo.

Leonardo tightens his grip and picks Braga up, before dumping him to the ground. Braga manages to land in guard.

Braga knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leonardo on the ground.

Leonardo is in close to Braga's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Braga wants to stand and escape but Leonardo is having none of it.
Braga can't keep his opponent in guard - Leonardo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Leonardo uses his free foot to push down on Braga's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Braga.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Braga is breathing heavily.
Leonardo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

It looks like Osvaldo Braga has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
