Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Huitzilopochtli De Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cole has chosen Skid Row - 18 And Life as his entrance music. Harry Cole has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Huitzilopochtli De Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harry Cole!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cole looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for De Silva!
De Silva is looking to improve his position but Cole isn't that keen on the idea.
De Silva is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Cole goes for an armbar but he's not got it… De Silva turns into him and now he's in Cole's guard.

Cole is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
De Silva throwing strikes from guard but Cole blocks nicely.

Cole is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. De Silva is aware though and is defending well.
De Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Cole is retaining full guard.
Cole throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
De Silva cracks Cole with a solid left hand.

Cole looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

De Silva postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cole is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of De Silva, into his guard.

Cole got a little sloppy there for a moment and De Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cole has managed to get both his arms back between De Silva's legs - danger averted.

Cole might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control De Silva kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Cole drops back looking for a leg! De Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and De Silva manages to kick Cole off! Cole jumps back into De Silva's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

De Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cole can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cole wants to control from the top but De Silva keeps moving.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Cole trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

De Silva is looking for a triangle but Cole pushes his legs off easily.
De Silva is breathing heavily.
Cole won't allow De Silva to sweep him here.

De Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cole gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Cole closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cole lands in his opponent's guard.

Cole drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cole jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Cole stands and throws De Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ground and pound from Cole seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
De Silva is looking to regain half guard here but Cole keeps moving and retains side control.

Cole is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, De Silva has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
De Silva tries to bench press Cole off him but Cole keeps the position.

Cole is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but De Silva is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
De Silva is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Cole throwing shots but De Silva is blocking nicely.

Cole is sneakily working for an arm triangle but De Silva sees it coming and defends easily.
Cole trying to control from half guard but De Silva is working away.

De Silva looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
De Silva is pressing down on Cole's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harry Cole dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


De Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Cole sprawls well. He's pushed De Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cole thows a left - swing and a miss!
De Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cole circles away.

Cole shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so De Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Cole looking for a guillotine here but De Silva defends easily.
De Silva in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cole is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. De Silva is aware though and is defending well.

De Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

De Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cole swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cole has momentary wrist control but De Silva slips an elbow through the middle.
Cole avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
De Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Cole is retaining full guard.

De Silva drops back looking for a leg! Cole is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cole manages to kick De Silva off! De Silva jumps back into Cole's guard.

Cole lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cole scores with a hook.

Cole shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cole showed some decent athleticism there.

Cole has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can De Silva defend it? Cole steps over the head and cranks it - De Silva is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Cole!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Harry Cole!
