The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hansen.
Hansen tries to close the distance and clinch but Braga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hansen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Braga on the side of the head.
Hansen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Braga. That did some damage!

Hansen takes the fight into the clinch.

Braga takes an elbow to the temple.
Braga is looking to control Hansen's arms but Hansen gets an underhook and turns him. Now Braga has his back to the ropes.
Braga is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Hansen has denied him.

and Braga decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hansen's guard.

Hansen explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Hansen sizes up Braga with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hansen tries to land a leg kick but Braga saw it coming and moves away.
Braga throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Braga takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Braga throws out a leg kick but Hansen moves out of range and Braga only half commits.
Braga tries a head kick but it misses.
Hansen throws a right and a left that Braga avoids nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A low kick from Hansen is predictable there
and Braga finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hansen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Braga stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hansen works the jab nicely.

and Braga counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
