The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Supa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ironcrotch swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ironcrotch looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Ironcrotch counters with a nice double leg into side control. Supa won't be happy with that.

Ironcrotch is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Supa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ironcrotch has Supa pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ironcrotch pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Supa tumbling to the mat - Ironcrotch dives into Supa's guard.

Ironcrotch drops back, looking for a kneebar! Supa looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Supa looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Supa!

Supa is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ironcrotch is defending well for now.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ironcrotch has Supa pressed against the cage, preventing Supa from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Supa tries for a takedown but Ironcrotch manages to get underhooks.

Ironcrotch gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Supa regains guard.
Ironcrotch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Supa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Supa is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ironcrotch throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Supa's body to avoid the submission. Supa has instead reached around Ironcrotch's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Supa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
