Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Hetfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hetfield kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Battery. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hetfield keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rice with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hetfield misses with a takedown attempt - Rice sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rice throws a right and a left that Hetfield avoids nicely.
Rice works Hetfield's body with a nice hook.
Hetfield fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rice avoids it really well and circles away.
Rice looks to throw the jab but Hetfield is out of range.

Hetfield ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hetfield no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Hetfield's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rice scores with a one two! Hetfield had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
A left and a right from Rice both land. Nice combination.
Rice lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hetfield looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Hetfield bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Rice comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Hetfield falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Hetfield was out before he hit the floor!
