Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thelogos Place (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Place.
Place comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Miller ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Place drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Place is pushing down on Miller's leg trying to pass to half guard. Miller is fighting to maintain full guard but Place has managed to sneak the leg through.

Place is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Miller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Place.
Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Place. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Place works his way into side control.
A lull in the action here as Place stalls from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Miller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Place advances to full mount.
Miller keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Place is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Miller is in real trouble.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Place.
Miller tries to roll but Place sticks to his back.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Place controls the position.
Miller rolls, trying to escape but Place keeps control of the position.

Place patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Place lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Place is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Miller defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miller is keeping busy.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Miller is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
