The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jab, jab by Horrigan - just one landing.
Silva walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Horrigan circles away.
Horrigan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
Horrigan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Silva is breathing heavily.
A jab from Horrigan does it's job there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Horrigan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Frank Horrigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva takes one to the chin there.
Silva takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nice uppercut there from Horrigan.

Horrigan drops Silva with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Silva looks back up at him and smiles so Horrigan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Silva is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Horrigan ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Silva clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
