The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landshark ducks under a wild hook from Chen.
Chen swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Chen misses with an uppercut. Landshark saw that one coming.

Landshark changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Chen wants to control but Landshark postures up.
Chen tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Chen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Chen swinging wilding here.

Landshark steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chen.
Chen throws a jab when Landshark was well out of range.
Chen takes a swing at Landshark's ribcage but misses.
Landshark blocks the body kick.
Chen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Landshark was well out of range. Poor timing from Chen.

Chen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Landshark to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Landshark pushes down on Chen's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Chen tries to get to full guard but Landshark has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Landshark is working Chen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That was a close round but I would say that Devin Landshark will probably get the nod.
That's time! Landshark's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Landshark is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chen's half guard.

Chen moves into full guard.
Landshark stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Landshark can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Chen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Chen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Landshark's guard.
Landshark manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Landshark fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Chen is trying desperately to improve position.

It looks like CK Chen has been cut.
Devin Landshark overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Landshark postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Chen bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Landshark and the fight is over!
