Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Stevenson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lopez pinned against the cage. Lopez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lopez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Stevenson fails with a takedown attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lopez, as that shot connected.

It looks like Ross Stevenson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice takedown defense from Lopez. No joy for Stevenson on that attempt.
Emilio Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ross Stevenson.
Stevenson looks gassed!
Horrible takedown by Stevenson or perhaps it was just good defense by Lopez which made him look bad.
Lopez tests Stevenson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lopez throws a head kick that misses.

Lopez lands a big uppercut and Stevenson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Stevenson looks OK. Lopez waves Stevenson back to his feet!
Stevenson drops his hands momentarily. Lopez doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Stevenson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Stevenson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
