The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Cash circles away.
Cash tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cash moves out of range of the body kick.
Cash tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Johnson tries to move into range but Cash moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Drey Johnson has been cut.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses.
Cash slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
Cash showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson throws a shot from downtown. Cash moves away and avoids it.

Cash rushes Johnson and presses him up against the cage.
Cash prevents Johnson from breaking the clinch.
Johnson scores a nice knee to the body.
Johnson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Cash wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cash slows down the pace here.
Cash wants to break free but Johnson has control.
Johnson tries to break free but Cash pushes him back against the cage.
Johnson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Cash lands a shoulder strike.
Cash looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Johnson creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Cash pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Cash is avoiding it.
Drey Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cash throws a combination that misses
and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand.
Johnson wants to clinch but Cash slips to the side
and Cash counters with a right hand to the body.
Johnson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cash lands a nice looking body shot.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Cash slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Cash lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
Johnson darts in trying to clinch
and Cash counters with a two punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cash misses with a double jab.
Johnson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Johnson is rocked!

Cash closes the distance looking for a takedown. Johnson stuffs it but Cash still has hold of him. Cash picks Johnson up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Cash slams Johnson to the floor and that's really hurt Johnson - he doesn't know where he is! Cash throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
