Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzwell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rocha was well out of range. Poor timing from Fitzwell.
Rocha throws a sloppy head kick and Fitzwell moves out of range easily.
Rocha tries to clinch there but Fitzwell circles away.

Fitzwell closes the distance and pushes Rocha back into the cage.
Rocha stops a takedown attempt from Fitzwell.
Rocha is pressed up against the cage. Fitzwell has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rocha down to the mat. Rocha avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rocha misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Fitzwell or perhaps it was just good defense by Rocha which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dick Fitzwell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rocha looks to land a combination but Fitzwell avoids it well.
Rocha tries to bum rush Fitzwell with a series of wild strikes but Fitzwell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fitzwell shoots in but no luck this time.

Rocha throws a leg kick but Fitzwell sees it coming and moves out of range.
Fitzwell doesn't manage to clinch there - Rocha circles away.

Fitzwell misses with a takedown attempt - Rocha sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fitzwell shoots in for a double leg but Rocha sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rocha closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fitzwell is breathing heavily.
Rocha happy to just control the position for now.
Fitzwell is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rocha connects with a decent elbow.
The referee asks Rocha politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Rocha prefers to stall for the moment though.
Rocha is chipping away with strikes.
Rocha cracks Fitzwell with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Fitzwell is rocked!
Fitzwell taking punishment in the form of punches.
Oh Fitzwell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big shot lands for Rocha! That's hurt Fitzwell! Will he recover? Rocha fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
