Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harper comes to the ring accompanied by Das Böse. Antonio Nogueira will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira has a takedown stuffed.
Nogueira looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Harper tries a low kick but Nogueira avoids it.
Nogueira shoots in but Harper avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Harper throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nogueira.
John Harper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Nogueira.
Harper misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nogueira.
Harper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nogueira moves away.
Nogueira dodges the punch combination from Harper.
Harper is looking to slow Nogueira down with leg kicks.
Harper throws a quick inside leg kick.
Nogueira keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harper takes a swing at Nogueira's ribcage but misses.

Harper fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nogueira sprawls well initially but Harper persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Harper is trying to work for a kimura but Nogueira is defending well.
Harper could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Harper is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Harper passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Nogueira!

Harper looking for a guillotine from mount but Nogueira is having none of it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harper tries to control but Nogueira wriggling away.

Harper is landing with some decent strikes but Nogueira is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Harper has hold of Nogueira's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Nogueira manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nogueira takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Harper quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Harper but it's paid off an Nogueira is forced to tap! Nice work by Harper.
