The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mama has a takedown stuffed.
mama fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tiihonen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. mama is trying to defend but Tiihonen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Tiihonen prevents mama from standing back up.

Tiihonen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but mama sees it coming and defends easily.
Tiihonen seems to be working for a kimura but mama defends the submission attempt.

Tiihonen uses his free foot to push down on mama's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for mama.

Tiihonen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down mama for as long as he can get away with.
Tiihonen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, mama has managed to escape the submission attempt.
