Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Squirmy McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green misses with a two punch combination.
Green throws a series of punches but McGee avoids them all with ease.

McGee pushes Green up against the cage in a clinch.
McGee using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Green has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Green is fighting off a takedown attempt but McGee is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Green to the mat. Green regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McGee is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

McGee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
McGee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Green is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Squirmy McGee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McGee throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
McGee takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McGee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McGee throws a low kick but it's checked well by Green.
Green lands a really nice looking cross but McGee seems unphased.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Green lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
McGee is looking to clinch.

McGee wants to break the clinch but can't.
McGee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Green is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Green drops McGee with a beautiful combination! McGee stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Green is looking for the KO!

McGee is rocked!
Green is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches McGee flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! McGee is out cold! Green holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
