Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Baz Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bocano Smithian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bones comes to the cage accompanied by Dat New New. Bocano Smithian struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smithian will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Smithian showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bones.
Smithian takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Smithian attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Bones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smithian throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
An inside leg kick from Smithian misses.
Smithian takes a kick to the side of the head.
Smithian throws a lazy head kick
and Bones counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Smithian looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Baz Bones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smithian misses with a body shot.
Smithian sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bones.

Bones drives through and clinches with Smithian against the cage.

Smithian is looking to regain half guard here but Bones keeps moving and retains side control.
Smithian regains half guard, as Bones was trying to land strikes.

Bones is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Smithian defends it well.
Bones tries to stand and escape but Smithian actually recovers to full guard.
Bones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Bones throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Smithian has his hands clasped together but Bones breaks the hold and Smithian is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Bones!
