The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Griffin does it's job there.
Dupont fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dupont shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Griffin but Griffin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dupont.
Rashad Griffin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Dupont.
Dupont tries to clinch there but Griffin circles away.
Griffin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dupont moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jab, jab by Griffin - just one landing.
No luck for Dupont with that takedown attempt.
Dupont takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Dupont tries to clinch up but Griffin circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Griffin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Dupont is rocked!
Griffin moves in close and cracks Dupont with a massive right hand! Dupont, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the cavas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Griffin!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rashad Griffin!
