Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro misses with the combination.

Castro gets a clinch.

Castro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turk swats away the attempt to clinch by Castro.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Castro.
Turk lands a jab-cross combination.
Turk misses with a jab, cross combination.
Castro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Castro shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Turk keeping control of the position.
Castro tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Castro wants to free his trapped foot but Turk is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turk wants to get back to full guard.

Turk kicks Castro off and gets back to his feet.
Good standup being displayed there by Turk as he connects with a hook.
Mariano Castro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Turk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Castro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Castro pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Turk cracks Castro with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
David Turk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Castro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turk's waist but Turk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Castro off to one side.
Turk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Turk wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mariano Castro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Turk jabs Castro right on the nose. Castro blinks but takes it well.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Castro, as that shot connected.
Castro shoots in but no luck this time.
Castro is breathing heavily.
Turk connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Turk scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Turk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Castro shoots in for a double leg but Turk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Turk lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Castro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Turk closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Castro out cold! Castro corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
