Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harry Potter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
In thows a body shot but no joy.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Potter.
Potter is working In over with some ground and pound from side control.

Potter goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, In rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Potter's guard! Nice work there by In!
In is looking to stand up but Potter won't let him.

Potter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. In stacks Potter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by In!
Potter throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.

Potter tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Potter is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

In stands up.
In throws a shot to the body.
Potter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
In misses with a body shot.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

In is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Potter is controlling him well.
In can't do much from the bottom here.
Potter lands a nice forearm strike.
In manages to get back to half guard.
Potter missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
In wants to get back to his feet.

Potter is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed In to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Potter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Potter is looking to take a break and control but In is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Potter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, In has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Potter trying to control the action but In is working from the bottom.
In is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Potter asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The strikes coming from Potter are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harry Potter dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


In throws out a loose jab but Potter uses good head movement to avoid it.

Potter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in In's half guard.
Potter throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Potter missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Potter seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead In has recovered full guard.
Potter postures up in In's guard and throws a big left but In blocks it.
In avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

In keeping moving, preventing Potter from controlling successfully.
Potter keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of In's head.
Potter wants to stand and escape but instead In has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Potter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
In would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Potter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Potter is breathing heavily.

Potter throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! In escapes and throws Potter's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Potter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Potter sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Potter looking for submissions off his back.
Potter makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Potter.
Potter trying to strike off his back.

In wanted to stand there but Potter had control of the position.

In gets to his feet. Potter looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
In shoots and misses

and Potter counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Potter trying to control but In is working from the bottom.
Potter throws and elbow that misses. In uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Potter's guard. Nice move by In!

Potter throws his legs up looking for a submission but In uses it to pass to side control.
Potter is trying to get back to half guard.
In working away.
Potter tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harry Potter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! In's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Potter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Potter working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Potter swings around for an armbar but In sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Potter's guard.

Potter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
In wants to stand but Potter has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Potter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Potter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. In defends it easily.

Potter looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! In has picked Potter up and slammed him! Potter can't keep hold of the triangle and In manages to pass to side control!

In stands up and beckons Potter to his feet.

Potter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. In did well to prevent Potter getting side control.

In is not content to let Potter control the position.
Potter is just content to waste time from the top position. In takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Potter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Potter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but In manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Potter has In in his guard.

Potter throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! In escapes and throws Potter's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Potter tries to improve position but can't.
Potter wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Potter sneaks back into half guard.
In is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Potter works his way to full guard. Good work.
In tries to stand but Potter is controlling from the bottom.

Potter is looking for a triangle but In pushes his legs off easily.
Potter throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Potter tries to strike from the bottom.
Phil In has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Harry Potter is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Harry Potter has got the better of the ground game so far.

I would just about give that final round to Harry Potter.
