Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris The Goat Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Goat Killer is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes cracks a nice hook into The Goat Killer's ribs.
The Goat Killer is breathing heavily.
Nunes misses the shot to the body.
Nunes bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps The Goat Killer's head backwards.

It looks like Chris The Goat Killer has been cut.
Nunes tries to clinch but The Goat Killer is having none of it.
Nunes throws a hook but The Goat Killer avoids it easily.
Nunes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Goat Killer circles away quickly and effectively.

Nunes clinches up against the cage.

Nunes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Horrible takedown by Nunes or perhaps it was just good defense by The Goat Killer which made him look bad.
Nunes throws a series of punches but The Goat Killer moves out of range.
Nunes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nunes misses with a wild body shot.
No luck for Nunes with that takedown attempt.
Nunes connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nunes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Nunes closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. The Goat Killer did well to prevent Nunes getting side control.

The Goat Killer is looking for a sweep. Nunes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nunes in particular looking to stall.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nunes tries to pass to full mount but The Goat Killer defends it.
Nunes is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Let's hope that Nunes has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Nunes lands a nice looking body shot.
A punch lands to the side of The Goat Killer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nunes scores with a one two! The Goat Killer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Nunes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between The Goat Killer's hands.
Oh The Goat Killer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nunes shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! The Goat Killer is on queer street and Nunes is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
