Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tetsuhiro Uwano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Smchalenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uwano's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Yngwie J. Malmsteen - Rising Force. Yuri Smchalenko has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuri Smchalenko!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uwano slips under a jab from Smchalenko.

Uwano throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smchalenko was covering up waiting for the punch and Uwano finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Smchalenko has his foot on Uwano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Uwano works his way back into a safe position though.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Uwano's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Uwano cracks Smchalenko with a solid left hand.

Uwano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Smchalenko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Uwano has managed to get both his arms back between Smchalenko's legs - danger averted.
