Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hinuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rilley Ribbler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ribbler has chosen eye of the tiger as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Hinuri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rilley Ribbler!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribbler tries to clinch but Hinuri is having none of it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ribbler looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hinuri tries for a kimura but Ribbler is defending well.

Hinuri is trying to get an arm triangle but Ribbler is defending well.

Hinuri tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hinuri has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Hinuri creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Hinuri shoots in for a takedown but Ribbler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hinuri shoots in looking for a takedown. Ribbler tries to sprawl out of it but Hinuri keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ribbler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hinuri wants to pass to mount but Ribbler is defending the position.
Hinuri stops Ribbler from getting back to his feet.
Hinuri seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hinuri wants to pass the guard but Ribbler is keeping the position.
Ribbler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ribbler wants to get back to his feet but Hinuri is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hinuri is pushing down on Ribbler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ribbler is fighting to maintain full guard but Hinuri has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hinuri is trying to control. Ribbler wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ribbler just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hinuri's brow.

With the fighters up against the cage, Ribbler throws an elbow but misses.

Hinuri has his foot on Ribbler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ribbler works his way back into a safe position though.
Ribbler is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hinuri has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ribbler is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hinuri.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hinuri is defended easily by Ribbler.

and Hinuri counters with a shoot takedown. Ribbler fights it but they end up in guard.

Jack Hinuri is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Ribbler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hinuri swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rilley Ribbler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hinuri, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
