Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damian Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Ramsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Penn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ain't no rest for the wicked.. Ramsey has chosen Boom as his entrance music. Troy Ramsey will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Damian Penn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Ramsey!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ramsey's guard.
Ramsey keeping moving, preventing Penn from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Penn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Penn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ramsey works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Penn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ramsey is keeping the position for now.
Penn trying to control but Ramsey is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Penn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ramsey swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Penn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Penn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Penn takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Penn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ramsey circles away.
Ramsey lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ramsey lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Penn backs up against the cage.
Ramsey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Penn!
Penn sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Penn looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Ramsey throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Penn is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ramsey pulls his head out easily.
Ramsey looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Penn looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Penn misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Penn wants to control but Ramsey is keeping busy.
Penn regains full guard. Nicely done.
Penn is trying to keep Ramsey in close.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ramsey throws a right hand that Penn ducks under and follows up with a left that Penn also avoids with ease.
Ramsey with a lazy takedown attempt
and Penn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Penn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Penn sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ramsey defending well though.
Penn trying to advance position but Ramsey counters by regaining guard.
Ramsey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Penn.
Penn throws a strike but Ramsey rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ramsey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Penn is tightening it up a little... Ramsey has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ramsey reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ramsey taps out! nice BJJ there by Penn!
