Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David McCredie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Ellagrande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellagrande fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McCredie.
Ellagrande misses with a looping right.
McCredie stuffs the takedown attempt from Ellagrande. Ellagrande gets slowly back to his feet.

McCredie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

McCredie stands and steps away. Ellagrande gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to David McCredie.
Well Ellagrande has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
