Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Earl Oyster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gage R (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

R rushes Oyster and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
R lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Oyster or not.

R tries to work over Oyster's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

R is looking to control Oyster's arms but Oyster gets an underhook and turns him. Now R has his back to the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

R shoots in and bounces Oyster off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

R looks to land a combination. Oyster sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Gage R showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

R changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Oyster looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

R wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oyster keeps working.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Oyster is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, R asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Gage R really dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gage R is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Gage R comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well R has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
