Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay hustus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cane comes into the arena with Ghost blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying hustus's choice of entrance music: its a fight. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cane wants to lay and pray for a moment but hustus keeps working.
hustus sneaks out the side door and pushes Cane away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
hustus throws a chopping leg kick but Cane manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
hustus goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

hustus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cane moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

No joy there for hustus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
hustus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cane tries to avoid it but hustus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cane to the ground. Cane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Thiago Cane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
hustus goes for a takedown attempt but Cane pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

hustus shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cane is trying to defend but hustus finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
hustus takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Cane kicks hustus off and gets back to his feet.
hustus stalks Cane and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cane's face. Cane staggers backwards, shaken.
