Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wasted Youth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zander Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Youth.
Blaze shoots in for a takedown but Youth shows good takedown defense.
Youth takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Youth shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blaze's guard.
Blaze will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Youth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blaze swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Blaze is trying to keep Youth in close.
Youth loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Blaze bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Youth's guard.

Youth is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Blaze would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Youth is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Youth is on top in guard.

Blaze shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Blaze showed some decent athleticism there.
Blaze is trying to control the action in half guard but Youth is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Youth feints and as Blaze raises his hands in defense, Youth changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Blaze has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Youth can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Youth changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blaze looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Youth tries to bum rush Blaze with a series of wild strikes but Blaze uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Youth looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Blaze with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Blaze moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Youth, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
