Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terry Etim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Porucznik Borewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Etim looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Etim throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Etim tries to close the distance and clinch up but Borewicz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Borewicz shoots in looking for a takedown. Etim tries to sprawl out of it but Borewicz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Etim manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Etim tries to close the distance and clinch up but Borewicz swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Etim is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Borewicz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Borewicz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Borewicz has control of Etim 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Etim regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Borewicz cracks Etim with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Borewicz shoots for a double leg takedown but Etim sprawls well. He's pushed Borewicz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Etim tries to clinch but Borewicz is having none of it.

Borewicz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Etim takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Etim is not content to let Borewicz control the position.

Etim parries the strikes from Borewicz easily there. Borewicz is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Etim to escape.

Borewicz tries to score with some ground and pound. Etim controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Borewicz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Terry Etim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Porucznik Borewicz.

Borewicz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Borewicz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Etim knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Borewicz on the ground.
Etim is in a horrible position here. Borewicz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
