PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mr Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enyo Kei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Enyo Kei told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kei tries to clinch there but Gonzalez circles away.
Kei avoids the body shot from Gonzalez.
Gonzalez slaps away a takedown attempt from Kei, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kei fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez avoids it really well and circles away.
Kei shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gonzalez as he avoids it easily.
Mr Gonzalez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Enyo Kei.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gonzalez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gonzalez is trying to stand.
Kei is landing with some decent strikes but Gonzalez is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Gonzalez is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Kei can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gonzalez is looking to escape.
