The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sommers swinging wilding here.
Sommers throws the left hand but Richards avoids the punch easily.
Richards lands a nice shot to the body.
Sommers takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sommers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Richards.
Richards throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sommers chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Richards can pounce on him.
Sommers motions for Richards to come forward. Sommers throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Sommers misses with a hook. Richards ducked under it nicely.
Sommers looks to score with a jab to the body but Richards is just out of range.
Richards uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sommers.
Richards really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Richards throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Richards tries to clinch up.
Richards lands a front kick.
Sommers looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No joy there for Sommers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sommers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A left lands for Richards.
Richards scores with a leg kick.
Nice body punch from Richards.
Anakin Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sommers takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Vic Sommers has been cut.
Richards shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sommers as he jumps to the side.

Sommers circles away from the clinch attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Richards.
Richards scoring well with a low kick there.
Richards is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Richards feints a jab and as Sommers dips his head, Richards unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Sommers right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Sommers falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Richards smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
