The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burrows fails with the takedown.
Rush looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Burrows throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Burrows is looking to clinch but Rush is avoiding it.

Lincoln Burrows overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Burrows is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rush can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The referee warns Rush that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Rush is desperately trying to improve his position but Burrows has a good base and remains in mount.
Burrows is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Burrows wants to finish this one by submission but Rush is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Burrows.

Burrows tries to close the distance and clinch but Rush swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
