Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between charles king (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tap Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, charles king!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tap Time!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
king misses with a two punch combination.

Time drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
king is trying to control Time's posture but Time avoids it.

Time thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Time working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
king is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Time has just dragged him back down to the mat.

king slips a nice elbow through Time's hands, connecting with Time's forehead.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
king ducks under a wild hook from Time.

That was a close round but I would say that charles king will probably get the nod.

Time closes the distance and clinches up with king, looking for a takedown. Time pushes king against the cage but king circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Time cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
