Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Jacque!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jacque looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jacque looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Lesnar decides to stand back up. Lesnar steps back and let's Jacque get back to his feet.

Lesnar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Lesnar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lesnar scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jacque to see if he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lesnar is looking to take a break and control but Jacque is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lesnar is putting a hurting on Jacque here, landing some big shots from side control.

Lesnar tries for a kimura but Jacque is defending well.
Lesnar lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Lesnar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lesnar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Lesnar advances to full mount.

Lesnar is working for a guillotine from mount but Jacque frees his head quite easily.

Lesnar is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jacque has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jacque!

Lesnar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lesnar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lesnar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jacque doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lesnar is tightening it up a little... Jacque has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jacque reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jacque taps out! nice BJJ there by Lesnar!
