The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasputin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Malelei pinned against the cage. Malelei gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Malelei has managed to clinch.
Rasputin tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Malelei wants to break the clinch but can't.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malelei tries to bum rush Rasputin with a series of wild strikes but Rasputin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Malelei lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Rasputin is looking to close the distance but Malelei sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Rasputin crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Rasputin is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
