Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Den Goods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and alex silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goods closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
silva leaning his opponent against the cage.
silva goes for a takedown in the clinch but Goods prevents it.
silva has Goods pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Goods manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
silva is pushing Goods up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
silva fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Goods fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. silva sprawls well initially but Goods persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Goods wants to take a breather but silva is having none of it.

Goods drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Goods jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Goods stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

silva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Goods walks away with a smile on his face. silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

silva is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Goods.

It looks like alex silva has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Goods closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Goods wants to work for an arm triangle but silva is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Goods seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Goods lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Goods seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Goods keeps the fight in the clinch, despite silva's efforts to push away.
Goods lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of silva backwards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee is keeping an eye on silva - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Goods jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as silva walks away with a smile on his face. Goods gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fighters circle momentarily. Goods darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Goods connects with a good right hand that stumbles silva. silva circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

silva is fighting to break Goods's control of his arms but Goods is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

silva looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

That has opened up alex silva's cut even more.

Goods closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Goods is working to tighten is grip on silva's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. silva has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Goods is really squeezing tight and eventually silva passes out! Goods breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
