The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaka lands with a straight right. silva didn't see that one coming.

silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kaka's waist but Kaka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing silva off to one side.

silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kaka swivels and escapes.

Kaka feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to silva's calf.

Kaka throws a series of punches but silva avoids them all with ease.
Ronaldo Kaka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
silva on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kaka. Kaka obviously looking to wear him down.
silva slips a jab and a cross from Kaka.

Kaka throws a sloppy head kick and silva moves out of range easily.
silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kaka is fending him off so far but silva persists. Nope, Kaka circles away and we're back to standing.

Kaka thuds his right hand into silva's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
silva takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kaka rushes silva with punches - silva moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, silva goes down! Kaka follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
