Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosby Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dearman Poppdog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dearman Poppdog!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Poppdog shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Poppdog. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

You can see the frustration on Poppdog's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Poppdog has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
I would not like to be Poppdog right now.
Poppdog is really stuck here.
Kingston biding his time, looking for the opening.

Kingston controlling the position well here. Poppdog rolled but Kingston kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Kingston will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kingston's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kingston controlling the position well here. Poppdog rolled but Kingston kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Cosby Kingston just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cosby Kingston will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Kingston seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kingston in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Poppdog has control of Kingston's left arm, preventing Kingston from doing any damage.

Dearman Poppdog comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Poppdog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
