Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Camil Davids!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and George wants it to stay on the feet.
George lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by George.

George drops Davids with a nice combination! George dives into Davids's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Camil Davids has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
George wants to get up but he can't break Davids's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Chicken George has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Camil Davids.
George punishes Davids's body with a nice straight punch.
George stuns Davids with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by George.
George throws a series of punches but Davids avoids them all with ease.

George gets caught flat footed, as Davids shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

George is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Davids is controlling him.
George trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Davids drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Davids jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Davids throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as George works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
George wants to stand and escape but Davids is having none of it.

Davids is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Davids drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Davids jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
George knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davids on the ground.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
George fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davids looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
George misses with a two punch combination.
Davids fails with a takedown attempt.
Chicken George seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Davids scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
George is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Davids asserts his dominance and retains side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

George uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Davids has time to react.

Davids is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

George looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
George throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davids.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
George lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Davids decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Davids slips a nice elbow through George's hands, connecting with George's forehead.
George is looking to escape.

Davids is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but George has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
