Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davi Alves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves scoring well with a low kick there.
Alves throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alves misses with a wild combination.
Alves stuffs the takedown.
Jacobs takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jacobs closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alves circles away.
Jacobs shoots in and drives through. Alves sprawls well.
Davi Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Jacobs.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Alves connects with a nice short shot to Jacobs's temple.

Alves lands with an uppercut that bounces Jacobs off the cage and back into rage.

Jacobs shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alves napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
