Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raja Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Calas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sullivan comes to the cage accompanied by Laid To Rest - Lamb of God. Calas has chosen Sonata Arctica - Fade to Black as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Calas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Sullivan tries to hold on but Calas pushes him away.

Calas has hold of Sullivan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sullivan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Sullivan is trying desperately to improve position.

Calas goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sullivan turns into him and now he's in Calas's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Calas throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sullivan blocks it with crossed arms.

Calas gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Calas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sullivan dives on top into guard.

Calas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sullivan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sullivan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
